After our assembly and before our dance party, we had the first ever Hamlow staff vs. staff (including Deputy Tim) tug of war competition! Such a fun way to let the kids witness friendly competition!
Great life lessons can come from healthy competition, which all of the staff demonstrated today:
✔️We cheer for everyone!
✔️We can cheer for those who win!
✔️Even if we lose and might be sad, we can still be excited for the winners!
✔️Regardless of whether we win or lose, we still congratulate each other and shake hands!

We had our last WE CAN Award assembly this morning! See below for our winners! At the end of our assembly, we had a dance party and we all did the Cha Cha Slide! 💃🏽 🪩 🕺🏼 What a fun way to end our assembly!

Yesterday was our annual Field Day during specials time for all students Kindergarten through 2nd grade! Everyone had a blast- even in the heat! A huge thank you to the Hamlow and Waverly Intermediate PTO for the Kool-aid Jammers as a refreshing treat after working hard and having fun!

Kindergarten Program Day! 🎶
Thank you to all of the Kindergarten Families for coming to see all of the hard work our Kindergarteners have been putting into their music! And, thank you to Mr. Crouch for helping all of our students grow individually throughout the year!

Hamlow is so excited to have former Hamlow students participate in this fun tradition. Please share this with your friends and family who have a WHS Senior. We can’t wait to celebrate & honor these Seniors as they walk our halls one last time as a District 145 student.
