Globalโs Lavish Library: Lotus Help You!
When Waxahachie Global High Students: Mimi Tran, Rachael Edgar, Carlos Ruiz, and Cherish Grider, were given the school project to make a business or non profit to help their community or school they immediately knew they wanted to revamp their schools library. Global High is a early college high school and at times the work load gives students high stress levels. It is beneficial for students to have a place like a library where they are able to unwind and spend time with friends. That is exactly what our team plans to do. We want to re-invent our library into a maker space area. With a relaxing inside with a donated gaming console the students of Global High can play Super Smash Bros, a beloved game among the student body, as well as read and play board games. The dream is to make an outdoor patio area for students to read, work, and hangout. With the help and support of the school our project may one day be a reality.
