Congratulations to our Teacher of the Month, Christine Kelley, and our Staff Member of the Month, Deanna Woods!

🎉 Ms. Kelley has persevered through difficult challenges at the start of the year and many room changes, keeping her students happy and learning! She has shown tremendous resilience despite the challenges she faced at the beginning of the year.

🎉 Ms. Woods has worked on scheduling, thinking around several obstacles (class sizes, IEPs, bands, etc.) and done so with diligence. She has managed to balance the needs of a campus with 610 students as the sole counselor. She is an excellent problem solver!

Congratulations to our April and May Teachers and Staff Members of the Month!

April Teacher of the Month, Nicholas Bechtol, and our Staff Member of the Month, DeAnna Woods.

May Teacher of the Month, Brian Clock, and our Staff Member of the Month, Sherry Garcia (not pictured).

🎉 Mr. Bechtol is the staff member that everyone can count on! He is willing to do anything needed to help support the entire campus while still going above and beyond for all his students!

🎉 Ms. Woods is the lifeblood of our campus! She shows up ready to work each day and is one of the most efficient staff members we have ever had on campus!

🎉 Mr. Clock has taken on a leadership role on our campus this year and has thrived in supporting our History Department, as well as any other needs our building has had. We could not function the way we do without him!

🎉 Mrs. Garcia is the person on campus who can find any answer that someone needs. She is the backbone of our campus, and we could not function without her!

Last week, we were so honored to welcome Jim Brickman, Co-Founder, CEO & Director of JBGL Builder Finance, LLC — a Green Brick Partners — to our REACH classroom. As a generous donor to our program, Mr. Brickman came to see firsthand the plans for the kitchen remodel happening this summer.

This isn't just a renovation. It's a space where our students will learn real-world life skills — from meal prep to financial planning to collaboration — all rooted in who we're raising them to be … leaders!

We are so grateful for partners like JBGL Builder Finance, LLC, who believe in our kids and invest in giving them the tools to thrive. When the community comes alongside a school, incredible things get built — literally. 🙌

We can't wait for our students to step into this space and start bringing their dreams to life this August!
