SUNDAY SALES OF ALCOHOL BY THE DRINK – If you are in favor of restaurants (i.e., Applebee’s, Olive Garden, Ruby Tuesday, Longhorn, etc.) serving drinks on Sundays in Waycross. Vote YES: if against vote, NO.

PACKAGE SALES OF ALCOHOL ON SUNDAY – If you are in favor of stores( i.e., Flash Foods, Two Guys, Ed's Package Store, etc.) selling bottled alcoholic beverages on Sundays in Waycross., Vote YES: if against vote, NO.

You can vote YES to one and NO to the other.

You can vote YES to both or NO to both.

Vote November 3.

Early voting has already begun and ends October 30.

Deadline to submit questions for the Mayoral & Commissioner Debate/Forum is today, October 5 by 8 p.m. Questions maybe be submitted to [email protected] or taken to the Waycross/Ware County Chamber of Commerce.

Georgia law (O.C.G.A § 21-2-417) requires Georgia residents to show photo identification when voting in person. If you have questions, need more information or have difficulty getting a free Voter Identification Card, you can contact the Ware County Board of Elections and Registration at: 800 Church Street, Waycross, GA or by telephone (912) 287-4363.

You are not required to provide identification when you vote absentee by mail.

WHAT IDS ARE ACCEPTABLE?

1) Any valid state or federal government issued photo ID, including a free ID Card issued by your county registrar's office or the Georgia Department of Driver Services (DDS) .
2) A Georgia Driver's License, even if expired.
3) Valid employee photo ID from any branch, department, agency, or entity of the U.S. Government, Georgia, or any county, municipality, board, authority or other entity of this state.
4) Valid U.S. passport ID
5) Valid U.S. military photo ID
6) Valid tribal photo ID
7) Bring one of these six forms of identification to vote.

GEORGIA'S VOTER IDENTIFICATION CARD

If you do not have one of the six acceptable forms of photo ID, the State of Georgia offers a free ID Card. An ID card can be issued at any county registrar's office or Department of Driver Services Office free of charge.

To receive a voter identification card, the voter must provide:

1) A photo identity document or approved non-photo identity document that includes full legal name and date of birth.
2) Documentation showing the voter's date of birth.
3) Evidence that the applicant is a registered voter.
4) Documentation showing the applicant's name and residential address.
