The Passaic County Sheriffโ€™s Office Bureau of Narcotics conducted an investigation in Paterson that led to the arrest of three individuals on multiple drug-related charges. Detectives recovered crack co***ne and cash believed to be connected to narcotics distribution during the operation. The investigation is part of the Sheriffโ€™s Office ongoing commitment to keeping illegal drugs off our streets and protecting the residents of Passaic County.

As we close out National Corrections Week, the Passaic County Sheriffโ€™s Office is proud to recognize the dedication and commitment of the Sheriffโ€™s Emergency Response Team (SORT). Formed in 2006, the SORT Team was established to respond to incidents within the Passaic County Jail, as well as riots and protests throughout our communities.

As the team approaches the 20th anniversary of its organization, we honor the five remaining original members who continue to serve with professionalism, courage, and unwavering dedication. Their years of service reflect the strength, discipline, and teamwork that define the Passaic County Sheriffโ€™s Office.

Sheriff Thomas Adamo stated, โ€œThe dedication shown by these original SORT members over the past two decades is truly remarkable. Their commitment to protecting both our correctional facilities and our communities is a testament to their professionalism and service.โ€
