Lavalette Elementary School hosted its Spring Art Show today, where families were invited to enjoy the incredible artwork created by our talented students!

It was a wonderful opportunity for families to see firsthand the amazing work happening in our classrooms and celebrate the creativity of their children.

West Edge Factory visited, working alongside students giving them the chance to create a small portion of a 160-foot mural that will be displayed in Huntington!

This exciting project allowed our students to leave their mark on a community art installation and be part of something much bigger than themselves!

A big thank you to art teacher Sarah Burke for this incredible event together for her students and their families.

We want to extend a sincere thank you to all of the employers, colleges, trade programs, and community partners who took time to invest in our students and share valuable insight into their professions.

It has been a magical week at East Lynn Elementary!

To celebrate wrapping up testing, the school became the "Lakers School of Curious Minds and Magic". Students drew a house from the sorting hat and had to create a banner representing their house traits.

There were plenty of other fun activities throughout the week, including a school dance!

Check out some of the magical moments below.
