A new scam going around is a phone call from Amazon stating there has been a problem with an order and money needs to be put on a gift card or they ask for your information and a credit card or charge card. Do not give any information to anyone calling asking for money. Check your account number and call the number on your account.

***UPDATE*** Suspect is in custody. Thanks to the WVSP and WCSO for the team effort.

At approximately 4:00am on Friday 6/19, the suspect stole a Wayne County truck from a residence and then crashed it near the Dunlow Fire Department. Suspect again fled the scene on foot. He has changed clothes- now wearing overalls. He is approximately 5’5” 135lbs, covered in tattoos. The original vehicle he was in was also a stolen vehicle. If seen please call 911.

PLEASE SHARE: At approximately 7:30pm on Thursday 6/18, our officers attempted to initiate a traffic stop in Wayne. The suspect, Jason Mcclure, fled and crashed just South of Wayne on Rt. 152 then fled on foot into the woods. He is wanted for multiple warrants. Last seen wearing a blue tshirt, gray sweatpants, and barefoot. Subject is from Shady Spring but staying in the Huntington area. If seen please call 911.
