Northeast Nebraska Public Health Department was proud to be part of the Connected in Crisis event that was held in Yankton, SD, on May 27th! The focus of this event was to improve response time and effectiveness in case of a major crisis in our area. This is designed to strengthen preparedness across the community regarding a cross-regional incident. By walking through incident ramp-up, mobilization, sustained operations, and demobilization/return-to-normal phases, participants were able to enhance their readiness for a real-world event.
