Keeping our community safe and ready to answer the call! 🚒🚑

Tonight, your Radnor Professional Firefighters are providing additional staffing beyond our typical coverage: an engine staffed with a crew of four, two ALS MICUs, and a battalion chief. Providing fire protection and advanced life support for our residents, businesses, and visitors.

As a combination department, career and volunteer personnel work together to protect our community. Tonight, we’re proud to keep the house covered while our volunteer members celebrate 120 years of service.

The Radnor Professional Firefighters extend our deepest condolences to the Moyse family and our mutual aid neighbors at Broomall Fire Company on the passing of Past Chief Frank Moyse.

Chief Moyse’s dedication reached beyond Broomall. Through his work in pump and operator training at the Delaware County Emergency Services Training Center, he helped prepare firefighters throughout our region to serve their communities.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, fellow firefighters, and all those affected by his loss.

Rest in peace, Chief. Thank you for your service, leadership, and the knowledge you shared with so many.

Celebrate the life of Frank Moyse and join others in sharing memories, stories, and condolences.

Members of B and D Platoons participated in the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission’s Water Rescue and Emergency Response (WRER) course, completing the river-swim portion of the program today.

A firefighter’s skill set extends far beyond fires and fire alarms. Our members routinely prepare to respond to vehicle crashes, hazardous-materials incidents, water emergencies, technical rescues, medical calls, and much more.

Training like this strengthens our members’ knowledge, confidence, and ability to operate safely in moving water—ensuring they are prepared to serve our community whenever and wherever an emergency occurs.

We are proud of their continued commitment to training, professional development, and public safety!

Today, on the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001, we participated in several community programs in remembrance of that horrific day, to honor the lives lost and ensure their sacrifices are never forgotten.

As firefighters, we pause to remember the 343 members of the FDNY who answered the call that morning and never returned home, along with all those who lost their lives that day and the many who have since died from 9/11-related illnesses.

For us, “Never Forget” is more than a phrase. It is a promise to remember their courage, honor their sacrifice, support those who continue to carry the physical and emotional effects of that day, and pass their stories on to future generations.

Twenty-five years later, we remember where we were, we honor those we lost, and we remain united in service to our communities.

We will never forget.

🚒 Congratulations to Paramedic Nic Gonzalez and Paramedic Collin Arntz on reaching major career milestones!

Nic Gonzalez has successfully completed Firefighter II, earning the minimum qualifications to be promoted to Firefighter/Paramedic and become a fully cross-trained provider. Nic has consistently proven himself to be an outstanding paramedic, and we’re excited to see him bring that same dedication and professionalism to the fireground.

Collin Arntz has successfully completed his Pennsylvania Vehicle Rescue Technician (VRT) certification. After joining us from Prince George’s County, Maryland, not all of his academy certifications transferred to Pennsylvania or Pro Board. Collin has worked diligently to complete the required Pennsylvania certifications, and with the completion of VRT, he has now met the minimum qualifications to be considered for promotion to Firefighter/Paramedic.

Congratulations, gentlemen! Your commitment to training and professional growth makes our department stronger. We look forward to seeing you both on the fire floor. 🔥🚒
