“Fight... Fight... Fight!”
These were the inspiring words of President Trump after the assassination attempt on his life in Pennsylvania. This was a defining moment where so much was said with so few words. “Fight, Fight, Fight!” are the defining words of our time as we defend this country, our Constitution, and our party.
Unfortunately, our party remains divided, not so much along the “new” and “old” lines, more so as those who will not fight and those who will fight for our Constitution and our country. The number of times our Constitution has been violated and our principles have become shredded are too many to count the last 10-20 years. We need to change that record and change it fast.
Loyalty to the Constitution and conservative principles vs relational loyalty to those in power have always separated the party. And to be clear, there is no doubt the new NEGOP is looking for fighters for our Constitution and principles. We remain committed to helping any Republican with that goal…to be crystal clear though, not because in-fighting is what we want. DIPLOMATIC fighting is what we NEED to correct institutions that once served the citizenry well but have fallen into disarray. It is not personal, we are just in need of true leaders that will fight to preserve a Constitution and quality of life. We believe in the original objective of the party.
The party objective has never changed and is outlined in the Constitution party leadership inherited.
The maintenance of the government OF, BY, AND FOR THE PEOPLE…
…According to the Constitution and laws of the United States and State of Nebraska
…and the furtherance of such principles as from time to time may be adopted
(These principles are in our platform and political and legislative plans as adopted by vote by the governing body)
We must look at the legislative record and not campaign talking points to see if the objective is being met. Have you seen “Fight, Fight, Fight” or “Appease, Appease, Appease” with Biden’s Unconstitutional actions and Pelosi’s budgets at the federal level?
Where are the border bills and holding the Executive Branch responsible for following through on the law?
Where are the bills to drill our own energy (overcome the Executive orders) instead of sending our money to the Middle East to pay ourselves and lower our energy costs?
Where are the declarations of unconstitutional behavior and holding people accountable?
Have you seen fight or appease when the administrative state oversteps their bounds?
Have you seen fight or appeasement with the DOJ, FBI, or EPA in the halls of federal and local government?
Have you seen “Fight, Fight, Fight” or “Appease, Appease, Appease” to the narratives from your school board in obedience to an unconstitutional department of education?
Have we fought or appeased a system that is demoralizing our youth and creating failing academic scores that will hurt their chances at preparing them for a successful future?
Have you seen fight or appeasement from your locally elected boards when life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness is on the line?
The government needs yet MORE money after state stimulus while you are struggling to pay living expenses in Biden’s inflationary world?
Is your local politician fighting or appeasing?
Do you see the fight or appeasement when the FIVE big issues are needed from the state or are they ignored for the 800 smaller bills that continue to grow the government and/or the organizations who need government money to survive?
Fight or appease…I could list more topics.
Fight or appease a failing world system that is causing destruction is the question of the day. At a gut level this is what is defining the divide in our party and our country. Many want to fight for their country and Constitutional heritage while others want to keep or just tweak the current system and hope it gets better. You see this in the criticisms of the sides as well. One side is criticized over money and power, the other side is criticized for small to no substantive legislative achievements. I believe what people “value” are levied in the criticisms.
The ‘when to act’ is also the difference between the two camps. The fighters believe it is now or never to save the country. They gravitate to MAGA. Most of the fighters are also prepared for the battles the next four years when Trump wins in November.
The appease group believe the preservation of money and power for the next decade is the goal. Trump is usually not a hot topic with this group. Holding office, raising funds, and “prevention of real bad” remains the goals (as we continue to slip). The sense of timing to act, and act big, is very different depending on various Republican circles. You will see big legislative goals OR no legislation crafted that is big (just big talking points).
The leadership of the NEGOP believes now is the time to act BIG and BOLD (as it has been since we took office). Tax reform, Winner Take All, new school boards, massive border security efforts, immigration reform, energy independence etc. We know the citizens need BIG in 2024 for better lives.
As your Political Director, I will continue to build relationships with all our Republican officials… but support comes especially to those when they act big. However, I have given an oath to the Constitution first and a pledge to work on platform values as passed by our governing body. When those conflict I choose the Constitution and principles before the relational allegiance.
It is not personal.
It is the Constitution and conservative principles that are needed for the American citizen to advance in a Constitutional Republic. That is what you can expect from me as we prepare for 2024-2025.
My Biblical Observations as I prayed over the next 9 months
As an unapologetic Christian who is looking to save a country (not a theocracy), I also see the similarities in Joshua, our country, and in our party as I studied the good book this summer. I’m not here to advance my religion but my faith does inspire me to approach my world with a Biblical lens. Here is what I see for our moment in time…
I see Gideon. People want the largest army. I see a need for the right army. There are many uncourageous that are not up for the battle. They consume our time and the resources of the people. While I wish them personally well, we need courageous leaders who will act for 2024 & ‘25. We need an army that has the courage to fight and not compromise to a failing world system.
I’m still networking the 2024 candidates but I have also seen a good crop of candidates get cultured by an institution. We need to pray and encourage the right army. We need to invest and win with the right army. The biggest army without courage will not win the battle. It isy belief that I do see soldiers in the 2024 Candidates that have the courage to win. They will receive MORE of my time.
I see the problems of Achan’s in our camp. We have those who have compromised for personal gain/power. You are not alone in wondering how one achieves super wealth in office on a measly salary. I’m convinced we will not win the bigger fights until the corruption is out of the camp. The desire to serve self will not lead to victory for the Republican camp. We must advance as Republicans without the tolerance of the corrupt in camp. The big battles are ready to be won in battle when the corruption is no longer tolerated.
I see Caleb and Joshua. I see those unwilling to vote for right and engage in the fight. I see many that don’t want to cross the Jordan because the enemy looks big. I see many who want to ultimately stay in a desert that is better than Egypt, but will ultimately lead to the figurative death in the desert for themselves and many others. The Constitutional mission is not worth fighting for in their mind. The courage and obedience to honor one's oath of office is not there. We need to pray for the courageous and bold. Victory is there for the brave.
Fortunately, I see many Republicans who are up for the fight, have not been corrupted for power/money, and are the right soldier for the job. Our state school board candidates come to mind! They have our support…and make no mistake…no one is up for the fight more than President Trump. He is facing literal bullets while many politicians are too scared to face what the Marxist media is doing with their pen. The kryptonite of a politician's image is hurting many from being effective. It is time to save the country and drive a Constitutional mission forward. We are all imperfect people, but we do have the power to do good. Support the people ready to do good and are not afraid of standing up to a system THAT WILL Fail without significant change and a Constitutional charge.
I, just like many of you, are gearing up for the next 5 months. The words of “Fight, Fight, Fight” rang in my ear the last 24 hours as I contemplated what the assassination attempt meant. The enemies of Making America Great are many (sad but true). The question is are you up for the fight to do our Constitutional job of defending our Constitution, advancing our principles, and maintaining our government by and for the people? Or are you up for appeasing?
Fight Fight Fight! The time is now.
