👋 Hey Folks! Just taking a moment to say THANK YOU for recycling with us! ♻️ We sincerely appreciate all who participate in & support our recycling program.

➡️ A friendly reminder, please break down your boxes to leave room for others that are also dropping off.
➡️ We accept cardboard from greeting cards & gift boxes to large appliance & shipping boxes.
➡️ Drop off is available Tuesday - Friday from 8 to 4.
➡️ You DO NOT have to be a resident or business of Wayne County to participate.
➡️ If you are bringing a large quanity or will need help unloading please call to schedule assistance.
➡️ Cardboard collected is sorted, baled, and transported for marketing by SWA employees.
➡️ Recycling supports the environment by conserving natural resources and reducing landfill waste.

🌿 WAYNE COUNTY COMMISSION — JULY LITTER CONTROL UPDATE 🌿

July was another productive month for keeping Wayne County clean, safe, and beautiful!

Here’s a look at what was accomplished through the Litter Control Program:

🌳 18 acres reclaimed
🗑️ 83 REAP bags collected
🛞 24 tires removed
🪑 23 large items removed — including furniture, appliances, and other items
📋 11 cases closed
🚗 1,280 miles patrolled

These numbers represent real work being done throughout our county to address litter, illegal dumping, and other areas in need of attention.

👏 A special THANK YOU to our Home Confinement and Western Regional Day Report Center community service workers for their dedication, hard work, and commitment to helping keep Wayne County clean.

🌄 Yep, they did it again! 👏 Our Reclamation Team removed and properly disposed of 2800 lbs from 4 sites in the Southern part of the county. Highlights are pictured below. 🗣 Remember folks; help reclaim the land..call or message to report illegal dumping.☎️
