Are you passionate about empowering youth and supporting your community? We're looking for dedicated individuals to fill two key roles on our team:

Full-Time Program Assistant: Help us keep our programs running smoothly! Ideal for an organized, proactive multi-tasker who loves coordination, logistics, and supporting day-to-day operations.

Part-Time Truancy Mentor: Make a direct difference in a student's life. We need a compassionate mentor to guide youth, build positive habits, increase school attendance, and offer encouragement.

Join us at 9:30 on 8/8 for an "End of Summer/Start of the School Year" Family Bike Ride. This will be a slow-paced ride from the Waynesboro Family YMCA to the Waynesboro Farmers Market departing from the YMCA back parking lot at 9:30 AM. The Central Shenandoah Valley Office on Youth will have loaner bikes and helmets available for kids who need them on a first come first served basis. See the details below and contact info below. Get ready for the new school year at the Back to School Fair this Saturday, August 8, from noon–4 p.m. at the Fishersville Library!

Enjoy free school supplies, community resources, yard games, music, a self-care corner, character meet-and-greets, and more. Free haircuts are available with advance registration. 🎒✏️

Free clothing will be available for school-aged children from families residing in Augusta County, Staunton, and Waynesboro.
