💦 Water Park Closed Today – Friday, August 14

Unfortunately, the Greene County Water Park will be CLOSED today due to staffing issues.

While we want to be open and welcoming everyone for a day at the pool, we simply do not have the staffing available today to safely operate the facility. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.

🏊 Mon View Pool WILL be open today from 12–6 PM, so you can still get in some pool time! Please keep in mind that Mon View could close early depending on weather conditions.

THE RODEO IS STILL ON TONIGHT! 🤠🌧️
Don’t let a little rain keep you away from the Greene County Fair! Tonight’s Redeye Rodeo with Dave “Showtime” Meyer is still scheduled for 7 PM!
Today is Senior & Veteran’s Day!
🎟️ Seniors age 65+ and veterans with a valid ID receive FREE admission!
The rodeo will go on in the rain. If thunder or lightning moves through the area, we may need to delay the action for safety — but our Grandstands are covered, so come on out and enjoy the show!
There’s plenty happening before the rodeo, too:
🐂 6 PM – 4-H & FFA Market Steer Show
🎶 6 PM – Live Music featuring Cole Leathers in the Show Arena
🍔 Our food vendors are ready to serve up something hot and fresh
🎡 Plus rides, animals, exhibits, and entertainment throughout the fairgrounds!
☔ Grab an umbrella for the walk in, find a seat under the covered Grandstands, grab some fair food, and settle in for a great night.
A little rain isn’t stopping the Greene County Fair — we’ll see you tonight!

The Dive-In movie night at the Water Park is cancelled for tonight .

Before heading out today, please note that both the Greene County Water Park and Mon View Pool will be CLOSED today due to the forecast calling for storms throughout the day.

While we always do our best to stay open, the safety of our guests and staff must come first.

🌩️ Our weather safety rules are in place for everyone's protection:
• If we see lightning or hear thunder, everyone must exit the water immediately.
• We cannot reopen the pools until 30 minutes have passed since the last visible lightning strike or audible thunder. If another strike or clap of thunder occurs, the 30-minute clock starts over.
• Even without lightning, if rain becomes heavy enough that our lifeguards cannot clearly see the bottom of the pool, we must clear the water until visibility improves.

With today's forecast calling for repeated storms, we have made the decision to close both facilities rather than ask families to travel only to experience extended weather delays.

☀️ The good news is that the forecast looks hot, sunny, and dry for the rest of the week! We look forward to welcoming everyone back soon for plenty of fun in the sun.

🌧️🎬 DIVE-IN MOVIE CANCELED 🎬🌧️

Unfortunately, Mother Nature isn’t cooperating with us this weekend! Due to the weather forecast for Saturday, August 8, we have made the decision to cancel our Dive-In Movie featuring A Minecraft Movie at the Greene County Water Park.

We know everyone was looking forward to another night of floating, movies, and fun under the stars, and we’re disappointed too!

💙 Thank you for understanding. We had such a great response to our Dive-In Movies this summer, and we hope to bring them back again in the future.
