Waynesburg Borough Waynesburg is a borough with a population of approximately 4200 and is the county seat of Greene County in the southwestern corner of Pennsylvania.

Waynesburg welcomes you with a host of charming amenities often found in more densely populated areas. Waynesburg is growing but it still maintains its neighborly feel. As the county seat, Waynesburg is home to the Greene County government, human services and the judicial system. The Mission of Waynesburg Borough is to promote responsive municipal governmental services to its citizens in an efficient cost effective manner.

Please use extra caution when driving on the newly chipped roads. Until the final coat is applied in a few weeks, we ask that you please drive gently and avoid spinning your tires when stopping or accelerating. Spinning the wheels can damage the surface and ruin the seal. Thank you for helping us protect the new road surface!

Tomorrow morning Youngblood Paving will starting with Bridge Street. They will do it in 2 passes so traffic can get by. Please be patient as there might be a 5 or 10 minute delay when they are switching sides.

The contractors will be working on Strawberry Street at some point after Bridge Street, Parking lot 2 (behind Victoria Square) may be affected. Please find alternative parking if you do not want to risk being blocked in during this work.

🌧️⚡EVENT CANCELLED & RESCHEDULED

Due to severe thunderstorms and expected flooding in the forecast, the Block Party scheduled for Sunday, August 16th has been cancelled for safety.

New Date: We have rescheduled the event for Sunday, August 30th!

Thank you for understanding, a few vendors may change but we will still have a great time! We can’t wait to see everyone on the 30th. Stay safe and dry out there!
