🍁🌫️ AIR QUALITY ALERT: Smoke from Canadian Wildfires 🌫️🍁
You may notice hazy skies or smell smoke over the next several days. Wildfire smoke from Canada has moved into our area, causing reduced air quality across Stark County.

Even if you can't see heavy smoke, the tiny particles in the air can affect your health—especially if you:
• Have asthma, COPD, or heart disease
• Are an older adult
• Are pregnant
• Have young children

Help protect yourself by:
✅ Limiting prolonged outdoor activity when air quality is poor
✅ Keeping windows and doors closed
✅ Running your home's air conditioning or an air purifier if available
✅ Staying hydrated
✅ Checking the Air Quality Index (AQI) before spending extended time outdoors

If you experience difficulty breathing, chest pain, severe wheezing, or symptoms that worsen, seek medical attention immediately or call 911 in an emergency.
