This afternoon just prior to 4:00, Weare Forestry 1 was dispatched to respond mutual aid to the town of New Boston for a second alarm brush fire. First arriving companies did a great job with extinguishment and upon Weare Forestry 1 arrival, crews assisted with the mop up. Weare Forestry 1 cleared the scene around 6:15p.m.

This marks the second day of Weare Fire responding mutual aid after yesterday’s 3rd alarm building fire in Hopkinton. Glad to work with our neighboring towns!

Our team started training on the new Zoll mechanical ventilators last night, as part of an ongoing effort to upgrade our care services. This initiative was made possible by voter support for the zero tax impact purchase, which will enable us to deliver high-quality care with state-of-the-art equipment.
