🛤️⚠️ Heads Up ⚠️🛤️

Union Pacific Railroad is preparing to close the tracks at Old Garner Rd on March 23, 2026 for railroad work.
(This is due to the derailing that had occurred on the night of March 5th.)

As of now we do not have an exact time but their expectation is from 7am - 5pm. (Still trying to verify the time - once I have an exact I will update)

Below is the detour plan that is set in place.

🚧 ATTENTION 🚧

Our men will be paving on Poolville Cut-Off Rd tomorrow after 8am. Traffic will be slowed down right there so please plan accordingly. Thank you!

Willow Creek Road is officially open as of 9am this morning! Thank you to everyone who worked so incredibly hard on building this beautiful road. Also a big thank you to the amazing family who allowed us to run this road through their family land.
This all happened just in the nick of time for school to start back up so be mindful that this route is new to the Peaster community and it will take some getting used to. Please have patience while dropping off your children at school and/or just simply taking the loop around.

Here is your reminder that all Parker County offices will be closed Monday May 27th, 2024 in recognition of Memorial Day.
Parker County Pct. 2 barn will be opening at our normal hours May 28th, 2024 from 6:00am-4:30pm.

Reminder: If you have any tree limbs from this past storm, please feel free to bring them by the barn Monday - Thursday between the hours of 6:30am and 4:00pm up to May 16th. Please make sure you check in with the front office upon arrival. Thank you and have a blessed day!

Parker County Precinct 2 has some big news! ☀️

We have partnered with iWorq, a tech solution company that will allow you to submit road conditions, defaced signs, fallen trees and any other concerns you may have. Below I will list the steps it takes to get to the iWorq site.

1. Log onto www.parkercountytx.com
*I will also list the link below.
2. Select County Government
3. Select Commissioner Precinct 2
4. On the left of your screen will be a green box with different tabs - Select iWorq Precinct 2

Once you have done that it will bring you to a screen where you can decide to “Submit a Request” or “Find Existing Request”. Once you submit a request you will be given a request number. You will need that number to look up your previous requests you may have submitted. If you have any questions for how to use this site please feel free to call/email us up here at the barn.

Parker County Precinct 2 got to send off our very own Mr. Alan Beck today! 💙
He has dedicated a little over 17 years of his life to the county barn and now he gets to spend his time with his lovely wife Vicki and their sweet kids and grandkids! We will cherish all the laughs and friendships that you’ve created along the way Alan!

If you plan on bringing anything up to the barn, please check into the office before dumping anything off. Our hours of operation are Monday- Thursday 6:00am to 4:30pm.
