📚 Noche de Lectoescritura Familiar Bilingüe PK-5 – ¡Usted está invitado!
Acompáñenos a una noche de cuentos, juegos y diversión en familia en nuestra Noche de Lectoescritura Familiar Bilingüe. Compartiremos maneras sencillas de apoyar la lectura de su hijo en inglés y en español y le enviaremos a casa con actividades fáciles para seguir practicando.

Este pasado miércoles y jueves tuvimos una oportunidad increíble. Lucía Rocha — la creadora de Hola Books, nuestro recurso de alfabetización inicial en español — pasó dos días completos en nuestras escuelas modelando lecciones, apoyando a los maestros y ofreciendo conferencias individuales para responder preguntas y fortalecer la instrucción.

Estamos muy agradecidos por su colaboración y experiencia mientras seguimos construyendo un programa bilingüe fuerte y basado en la investigación. ¡Gracias, Lucía! 🌟📚✨

This last Wednesday and Thursday, we had an incredible opportunity! Lucía Rocha — the creator of Hola Books, our foundational Spanish literacy resource — spent two full days on our campuses modeling lessons, supporting teachers, and holding one-on-one conferences to answer questions and strengthen instruction.

We are so grateful for her partnership and expertise as we continue building a strong, research-based bilingual program for our students. ¡Gracias, Lucía! 🌟📚✨

From September 15 to October 15, WISD joins in celebrating the vibrant histories, cultures, and contributions of Hispanic and Latino communities.

In our dual language programs, we honor the stories, traiditons, and strength of our studnts, families, and educators whose voices enrich and shape our schools every day.

Let's continue to celebrate, uplift, and share the beauty of our heritage together -- ¡juntos en comunidad!
