We’re officially ONE MONTH away from July 4th!

There’s just something about celebrating Independence Day in Weatherford — the music, the fireworks, the crowd, and that feeling when the whole park comes alive.
This year, Spark in the Park will be even more special as we celebrate America’s 250th Anniversary with an evening full of live music, community, and one of North Texas’ largest fireworks shows.

Texas Country favorite Stoney LaRue takes the stage after Western Rewind Band kicks things off with some 90s country covers, and we’ll end the night with a fireworks show you won’t want to miss.

Cherry Park Pool: Will open around 2:00 PM

Heads up! Cherry Park Pool will have a delayed opening for Public Open Swim on Saturday, June 6th due to a swim meet taking place from 6:00 AM to approximately 1:00 PM (timing may vary if the meet runs longer).

Once the meet wraps up, our team will need about 30 minutes to get everything cleaned up and ready before reopening for public swim.

First Monday Trade Days is back this weekend!

Y’all have been asking… and we’re finally ready to tell you.

This year’s Spark in the Park headliner is none other than Texas Country favorite Stoney LaRue! Known for his heartfelt songwriting, powerhouse live shows, and deep roots in the Red Dirt music scene, Stoney has been one of the most respected names in Texas Country for years. We can’t wait to welcome him to the stage at Heritage Park this Fourth of July!

Opening the night will be Western Rewind Band bringing all the 90’s country hits. They were set to open last year before the rain rolled in, so we’re excited to have them back.

Then once the music wraps up, get ready for one of North Texas’ largest fireworks shows lighting up the sky over Heritage Park in celebration of America’s 250th Anniversary.

Spark in the Park is FREE to attend and takes place Saturday, July 4th at Heritage Park (503 Santa Fe Dr, Weatherford, Texas 76086). Gates open at 4pm, openers begin at 6pm, Stoney LaRue takes the stage at 8pm, and fireworks begin around 9:30pm.
