We would encourage all to do two simple tasks to avoid Christmas fires. 1st plug your tree lights through a surge protector to your wall outlet. They can be purchased cheaply at any Walmart or Lowe’s and Home Depot. 2nd have an ABC portable fire extinguisher or possibly a more expensive small CO2 portable fire extinguisher near by and accessible. A small mess is far more cheaper than a house fire, and destruction of memories.

I get a lot of phone calls regarding A/C battery backup non monitored residential smokes and/or CO detectors. Typically they are all interlocked on same circuit, as well as interlocked loop. So many times when one is chirping for low battery, it may not be that one, but a different one on same loop. I would encourage you to regimentally change batteries, at least once a year, such as distinct weather changes, ie summer to winter. Accruement temperature change plays havoc on batteries. And they always start chirping at the most inconvenient times such as 2am when you add your family are asleep. Be safe change the batteries, and not take down the smokes.

Would love to be able to locate this gentleman - who dodges phone calls or hangs up - we gave PROMPT service to him and his food truck “three sisters BBQ” and he has failed to pay - but is quick to remind us he is a bishop and a man of God - yes sir - now act like one and be responsible and pay

FAQ - HOW OFTEN ARE MY PORTABLE FIRE EXTINGUISHERS - KITCHEN FIRE SYSTEMS - PAINT BOOTH SYSTEMS- FIRE SPRINKLER SYSTEMS - FIRE ALARM SYSTEMS - BACKFLOW DEVICES SUPPOSE TO BE INSPECTED?

> portable fire extinguishers - annual with a shop service on fire extinguisher required every six years based from manufacture

> kitchen/industrial systems - semi with links changed a minimum of annually w/ size and link date written on back of inspection tag and a completed service report to be retained for minimum of 3yrs by customer

> fire alarm - annual w/ blue sticker for pass red for fail - or blue w/ red or yellow tags for deficiencies noted to be fixed in limited time period (these deficiencies are required for tech to turn in to local AHJ by federal and state regulations) and a completed service report to be retained for minimum of 3yrs by customer

> fire sprinkler systems - annual - same as fire alarm - but w/ tags instead of stickers

> backflow devises -annual w/ report turned into local water purveyor - customer to retain report for minimum of 3 years

our company is expanding - looking for someone to train in the fire service industry as a technician - must be 21 or older - valid drivers license - be able to pass state test (will help you study) - able to work on their own (I don't babysit) - coachable and dependable (you listen ill teach you)- pay attention to details (the customer pays for your attention and professionalism) - good with customers and communication skills (I dunno is not communication) - wear their pants at waistline (we don't do plumbing)- able to work with both hands (not one texting) - show up to work to work - other than that I'm pretty tolerant - 817-629-1727

Fall is moving in on us, which means a lot of rednecks will have there little burn pit with lounge chairs and bump logs sitting around it. Enjoy the brisk evenings, be safe; a quick cheap easy fire extinguisher home remedy, is a small yard pump bottle filled with water, and a dash of anti-freeze kept near by within easy reach.

hey guys there has been a recall of Kiddie smoke detectors with in last few weeks - take the one off your ceiling - plug the manufactory type and code in computer search engine of preference - and see if yours is one of the recalls - be safe
