Today, on Vietnam Veterans Day, we pause to honor the courage, sacrifice, and service of those who answered the call during one of our nation’s most challenging times. 🇺🇸

As a 2026 Ms. Veteran America Semi-Finalist, I stand in deep gratitude for the men and women who served in Vietnam, your strength, resilience, and legacy paved the way for generations of veterans, including myself.

Today and every day, we remember, we honor, and we thank you.

🇺🇸 Bringing Awareness to Homeless Women Veterans in Texas 🇺🇸

As a MSgt and Ms. Veteran America 2026 Semi-Finalist, I’m using my platform to shine a light on an issue that doesn’t get enough attention, homelessness among women veterans.

In Texas alone:
• 436 women veterans were experiencing homelessness in 2023
• Women make up 10.6% of homeless veterans in our state
• 1,837 veterans were homeless in Texas in 2024
• Nationwide, 3,329 women veterans are without stable housing

These are not just numbers. These are women who served our country, now facing unimaginable challenges. Many are mothers, survivors, and leaders who deserve support, dignity, and stability.

That’s why I’m proud to support Final Salute Inc., an organization dedicated to helping homeless women veterans and their children find safe housing and rebuild their lives.
