Please be advised we are planning an extended water outage for a large portion of town for an extended period on Tuesday, December 23rd. Please plan accordingly:

Bain Avenue, Rock Ridge Rd, Cedar Springs Rd, FOP Lodge Rd and possibly the surrounding areas will be without water from approximately 8am until the job is completed -- we are hoping that this will last no more than four hours.

We apologize for any inconvenience and hope to have it back up and running as quickly as possible.

Beginning Friday, December 19, 2025 until Monday, December 22, 2025 the City Hall, Meeting Center and Elwell Park Parking Lot will be closed. This includes the drive through window and drop box. The City Hall office will be open for walk up business through the front doors only on Friday, December 19th and the only parking spaces available will be those in the front of the building.

We apologize for the inconvenience but hope that the improvements will be worth the minor issues they cause along the way.

The weaver Fire Department was honored to have the WED kindergarten and preschool classes visit us Friday. We talked about fire safety with them. We were also able to show them tools of the trade. Plaging with the fire hoses seemed to be the highlight of their trip. We enjoy spending time with and educating the community! Thank you, WES for that opportunity!
