3 weeks until Art in Autumn! Come and be a part of a special day in Weaverville!

We are celebrating 19 years of the festival this year - and many artists tell us this is their favorite show, because of our fantastic volunteers!

Volunteers are needed to help with a variety of tasks, including: artist booth relief, parking (our most urgent need), water distribution and sales, trash pick-up, and staffing at the information/merch booth. Each volunteer gets a free t-shirt and a fun day working with great people.

Weaverville First Friday this week!
Friday August 7th 5pm-8pm

5 Little Monkey Quilt & Sew

Join us for a sew-in, people can bring any type of hand work and sit in the classroom and make stuff. Knitters, crocheters, quilters, bookmakers - any kind of hand project is welcome. We plan to stay open until 8 PM for standard shopping as well for each First Friday.

Artisans on Main:

We are doing a 25% off sale table and have a 10% off sale on participating artists inventory.

Blue Mountain Pizza & Weaver House:

Weaver House and Blue Mountain Pizza are teaming up for a limited-edition specialty pizza during Weaverville First Friday!

Japanese Garden Pizza
A creamy miso base topped with a three-cheese blend, pineapple, soy-marinated shaved steak, red onion, mushrooms, fresh jalapeños, and a sesame seed crust. Finished with shredded nori, spicy mayo, and fresh borage flowers.

We'll be open 5:00–9:00 PM! Purchase any whole specialty pizza from Blue Mountain Pizza and bring it to Weaver House to enjoy. You'll receive one complimentary beer or glass of wine while you relax in our space.

Weaver House will also be open to everyone with our full bar menu available. Parking is available behind the venue on Georgia Avenue for those attending Weaverville First Friday. Enjoy our gardens, cool off inside our beautiful air-conditioned hall, and catch the AVL Sounds Fest streaming live on the big screen!

This Friday is another fun First Friday in Weaverville, and our in-house letterpress printer Sally Anne Morgan will be leading an interactive letterpress demonstration where you can learn a bit about the artform and print your own card! 2026 is our 19th annual Art in Autumn Outdoor Arts and Crafts Festival. This much loved event is held on Main Street in downtown Weaverville, North Carolina, located in Buncombe county - 7 miles from downtown Asheville.

The event features over 100 juried artists and craftspeople, and live music performed by beloved local artists.

Every year, we invite a Judge from the local Art scene to join us. Our guest judge for 2026 is Sarah Wells Rolland

During the show, artists are juried by our esteemed Judge to receive awards of $1000 for best of show, $500 for second place, and $250 for third, as well as 4 $50 honorable mentions.

Come enjoy the show and go home with your new favorite work of art!
