Our Student Ambassadors met for the last time today to spread encouragement and cheer on students as they prepare for EOG testing tomorrow! They wrote uplifting messages and helped remind everyone just how proud we are of all the hard work our students have put in this year. ❤️🖤

Excitement is building for our rising 7th graders! Last week, students enjoyed fun tours of NBMS led by amazing student tour guides and Ms. Clarke, who did a fantastic job welcoming future Black Hawks. Students learned all about different clubs, class options, sports, and opportunities to get involved at NBMS!

North Windy Ridge families of rising 7th graders: Don’t forget tonight’s transition night at North Buncombe Middle School at 5:30 PM! Come explore the school, learn more about middle school life, and get excited for next year!

Students: Yellow registration forms are due to your homeroom teacher by Friday, May 22.

🎵 So incredibly proud of our 6th-grade band! 🎵
Yesterday’s concert was absolute proof of how much hard work these students have put in this year. From learning how to hold their instruments to playing as a full ensemble, the growth they’ve shown is nothing short of amazing.
They sounded fantastic, looked incredibly sharp in their concert attire, and put on a wonderful performance from start to finish! 🎺🥁🎷
A huge thank you to our amazing band director, Mr. Bannish, for his dedication, patience, and leadership in guiding these young musicians. We are so lucky to have you!

Our NWR Soccer Afterschool Enrichment wrapped up their season on Monday afternoon! Congrats to the Whales team on your tournament victory. Thank you, Mr Contreras, for all you’ve taught us about the fundamentals of soccer and how to be a team player! ⚽️⚽️
