Be careful and move over for firefighters!

Updated Road Closures due to fire:

Below are the current highway closures in District 2 due to wildfire incidents (as of 1:00 p.m. on August 9, 2021). Areas of highway closure are subject to change at any time.

MONUMENT FIRE:
State Route 299 in Trinity County is currently closed from approximately 4 miles west of Burnt Ranch to approximately 7 miles west of Weaverville, near Junction City. There is currently no estimated time for when the roadway will be reopened.

MCFARLAND FIRE:
State Route 36 is closed from the junction with State Route 3 to Wildwood. There is currently no estimated time for when the roadway will be reopened.

DIXIE FIRE:
State Route 36 is closed from just east of Morgan Summit to the junction with Highway 44.
State Route 70 is closed from just east of Jarbo Gap (Deadwood Road) to the junction with State Route 89 (Greenville Wye).
State Route 32 is closed from Butte Meadows to the junction with State Route 36.
State Route 89 is closed from approximately 1 mile north of Crescent Mills to the junction with State Route 36.
State Route 89 is closed through Lassen Volcanic National Park, from the junction with State Route 36 to the junction with State Route 44.
State Route 147 is closed from the junction with State Route 89 to County Road A-21.
