BUNCOMBE COUNTY WATER HEATER SAFETY: If you have no water, please ensure that the breaker in your panel box is turned off. If electricity is restored, the water heater will start heating up, which can cause a fire if there is no water in the tank. Once the water is restored and the tank is full, you can turn the breaker back on.

The Ox Creek Community Center in Weaverville North Carolina, has suffered tremendous damage as a result of Hurricane Helene. Hundreds of trees are down, many roads are blocked, bridges are out. There is no power, water or cell service. Although efforts are being made, many people are still unable to get out of their homes and driveways. If you are able to help, donations are the best way to help our community now. Donations may be made directly to our website at https://oxcreekcommunitycenter.org. We will make sure that the donations will be allocated to the needs of the Ox Creek Community as a direct result of Hurricane Helene. Thank you for your support!
