Read RSMO 407.931: "It shall be unlawful for any person to sell, provide or distribute to***co products, alternative ni****ne products, or v***r products to persons under eighteen years of age."

The Webb City Police Department recently conducted an underage compliance check at nine local businesses that sell v**e products. We are pleased to report that every business checked properly requested identification and none sold v**e products to the underage participant.

We would like to thank our local business owners and employees for their diligence and commitment to following the law. Their efforts play an important role in helping keep v**e products out of the hands of minors and protecting the health and safety of our youth.

Thank you for helping make our community a safer place for everyone.

UPDATE #2: (Thurs, Aug 27) this project will continue tomorrow, Fri, August 28th and Monday through Friday of next week, August 31st to September 4th.
The road will be closed at 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM each day.
The Water Crew continues the new water main installation.

UPDATE #1: (Tues, Aug 25) This will extend into Wednesday, August 26th and Thursday, August 27th starting at 7:00 AM and ending at 3:30 PM each day.

STREET CLOSURE: (Mon, Aug 24th & Tues, Aug 25th) 1st Street will be closed from Hall Street to East Road.

This will occur Monday and Tuesday, August 24th and 25th, starting at 7:00 AM and ending at 3:30 PM each day.

The Webb City Police Cadet Program is accepting applications from young men and women ages 15-20 who are interested in leadership, community service, and learning more about the law enforcement profession.

As a cadet, you'll gain valuable experience, make new friends, participate in community events, and learn from experienced law enforcement professionals.

📌 Be enrolled in an accredited educational program or possess a high school diploma or GED.

🚧 STREET CLOSURE NOTICE 🚧

Tracy Street from Hall Street to Main Street will be closed Wednesday, August 12, 2026, from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.

The Water Department will be boring test sites into the street as part of an upcoming project. Please plan for alternate routes and allow extra travel time.
