🏈 Houston County Peewee Football Needs the Community’s Support! 🏈

Houston County Peewee is preparing to host Jamboree in just a few weeks and is excited to welcome an additional team to this year’s event!

To help make the day a success, they are asking for donations to help stock the concession stand. The program relies heavily on fundraisers and the generosity of the community to continue providing opportunities for local youth.

Anyone who would like to help is encouraged to bring concession donations to practice this week, where they will be collected and taken to the high school.

Houston County Peewee greatly appreciates the continued support and generosity of the community. Every donation makes a difference!

Practice is on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday this week from 6PM - 8 PM.

In Loving Memory of Eddie Hamm

The Town of Webb joins together in mourning the sudden loss of Eddie Hamm, a devoted public servant, volunteer firefighter, former Town Council member, and former Mayor. His passing has left a void that will be deeply felt throughout our community.

Eddie dedicated much of his life to serving the people of Webb. Whether responding to emergency calls as a volunteer firefighter, helping guide the town as a council member, or leading the community as Mayor, he always put the needs of others before his own. His willingness to serve, his steady leadership, and his love for Webb earned him the respect and appreciation of all who knew him.

Eddie was more than a public servant—he was a neighbor, a friend, and someone who genuinely cared about the people and the future of our town. His kindness, generosity, and commitment to making Webb a better place will never be forgotten.

His sudden passing is a heartbreaking reminder that life is precious. While we grieve the loss of a man who gave so much to our community, we also celebrate the legacy he leaves behind. His example of service, dedication, and compassion will continue to inspire future generations.

On behalf of the Town of Webb, we extend our heartfelt sympathy to Eddie’s family, fellow firefighters, friends, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. May they find comfort in the love that surrounds them and peace in the many memories they shared.

Thank you, Eddie Hamm, for your years of faithful service, your unwavering commitment, and the positive impact you made on the Town of Webb. Your legacy will forever be a part of this community, and you will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
