Today we announced a NEW funding opportunity making $1 billion available through the Building Resilient Infrastructure and Communities (BRIC) program to reduce disaster risks for communities across the country. Under President Trump’s leadership, this program has been closely reviewed to ensure responsible use of taxpayer money and will focus funding on projects that upgrade or protect critical services and facilities.

Applications deadline is July 23, 2026. These funds will help states, local governments, Tribal Nations, & territories carry out projects that deliver safety & security to the American people.

Please join us Wednesday, March 25th, 8:30 am in the lower level of the Hamilton County Courthouse for Coffee & Camaraderie hosted by the Hamilton County Veterans Affairs.

We'll have personnel from Hamilton County, Iowa Emergency Management and Hamilton County Public Health along with a couple of physical therapists from the Fort Dodge VA Clinic.
