Summer meals make a big difference.

We are grateful for programs like this that help make sure children and youth in our community have access to a meal throughout the summer months.

Thank you to the Webster City Ministerial Association and everyone helping make this possible. Food security matters, and partnerships like this help care for families in a very real way.

Please help spread the word so families who could benefit know this resource is available.

It starts with one idea.

One conversation about what could make a community gathering space even better.

And then… people step in.

Neighbors give their time.
Families donate.
Volunteers roll up their sleeves.
And a project begins to take shape.

We are proud to have supported the Blairsburg park shelter addition through our annual grant program and even more proud to see the incredible community effort that helped bring it to life.

Congratulations to everyone who played a part in this project. Your time, generosity, and commitment created something meaningful for the community to enjoy for years to come.

Take a moment to read the story below that appears in today's Daily Freeman-Journal, Webster City, IA and, if you can, stop by Sunday for the dedication, open house, and potluck.

This Sunday, Blairsburg is celebrating the construction of the addition to its park shelter with an open house potluck, and invites everyone to come and enjoy fellowship, food and the new facility. The dedication is a culmination of many volunteer hours, from fundraising to manpower, helping to get....

It starts with one life… and the impact that life continues to make.
We were touched to see Webster City FFA honor Logan Baldwin through this year’s “Drive Your Tractor to School Day,” with Logan’s truck leading the line in his memory. What a meaningful tribute and a beautiful reminder of the impact one young person can have on a school, a community, and the people around them.
Following Logan’s passing, his family established the Logan Baldwin Memorial Scholarship Fund through the Enhance Hamilton County Foundation to honor his memory and continue supporting future students.
It is a powerful example of how one story can create a lasting ripple — carrying forward Logan’s love for agriculture, his connection to FFA, and the values that meant so much to him.
We are grateful to Logan’s family, Webster City FFA, and everyone who continues to honor his memory in such meaningful ways.

On May 8, the Webster City FFA hosted a “Drive Your Tractor to School Day” event from the Hamilton County Fairgrounds to the Webster City High School in memory of Logan Baldwin. It starts with one idea. One partnership. One investment in the future.

Congratulations to Career Ag Academy on today’s ribbon cutting and the exciting impact this project will have on students, agriculture, and workforce development in our region. We are proud to have played a small part in helping support this project and the opportunities it will create for years to come.

Projects like this happen when communities, organizations, educators, businesses, and supporters come together around a shared vision for the future. We are excited to see the doors officially open and cannot wait to watch the program grow.

Congratulations to everyone involved in making this vision a reality!

Philanthropy is not always about writing a check. Sometimes it looks like serving a meal, volunteering your time, supporting a fundraiser, or simply showing up for your community.

As part of our “It Starts With One” theme this year, we are excited to help highlight opportunities happening across Hamilton County that make a difference in the lives of others.

This Friday’s Congregate Meals Fundraiser is a great example of neighbors helping neighbors. Programs like Congregate Meals provide more than just food. They create connection, conversation, and community for many local seniors.

If you are able, consider stopping by to support this important effort. Sometimes it starts with one meal, one volunteer, or one act of kindness that helps strengthen a community.
