π™»πš˜πšŸπšŽπš›β€™πšœ π™»πšŠπš—πšŽ | While the current incarnation of this 150-year-old landmark was built in 2017, you’ll have no trouble believing you’re walking through Webster Springs in 1875. Or better yet in 1910 during the Webster Springs Hotel’s best days.

To me, Lover’s Lane was always as much a part of this town’s beautiful, unreachable, sepia-toned past as the Hotel since it wasn’t in use past 1940. When I heard that it had been rebuilt, I was shocked, and I finally got to see it for myself in 2023.

I’m a writer, yet there are no words for the experience. I can’t recommend it enough for anyone who loves Webster Springs … or the rare chance to time travel. What a priceless feeling.

You get one guess where we’re headed next 🀎

I’ve had pictures of this old β€”> new landmark stored up for over a year, taking my time as we walk through Webster Springs, and May 2023 me is now jumping up and down to finally share them!

I cannot convey how special this particular landmark is to me, and there is no way to do it justice, but I will dang sure try and truly may spread out its pictures and videos over a month of posts. You may as well temporarily call this page The Lover’s Lane Fan Page. So settle in πŸ‘πŸ»
