Thank you for joining us for our 8th annual Cruise-In Car Show on Sunday October 4th, 2026! This event was well attended with over 160 cars showing up, despite the cool temps and some 12 other car shows in the area! This event has become a staple in downtown Webster and thanks to the generosity of the community, we are able to continue to host this event year after year. This year, we held our first actual "cruise" where our participants were escorted through town by Police cruisers and Police motorcycles! How cool is that???!!! That'll be back for 2027 for sure!

We look forward to our 9th annual Cruise-In on October 3rd, 2027! Cruisin Bruce will be returning, as will our assortment of food trucks, demonstrations, cool cars, and family fun! See you in 2027 for the coolest, most unique car show around!

Today we remember our colleague and friend, Officer Michael Lee. Mike was taken from us 9 years ago, and his memory lives on every day.

Mike’s contagious laugh could be heard from afar, and he was always down for a good adventure.

Mike also was a phenomenal police officer, particularly skilled in investigations, trending towards the Detective Bureau.

Mike was also a valued member of the CEMLEC SWAT team, who continue to honor his memory today.

Rest easy Mike, and know that you are thought of often. Always remembered, never forgotten.

We will host another free RAD class in December. Classes will be on December 1, 3, 8, and 10 from 6 pm to 9 pm.

This class is free, and class size is limited. We are thrilled to offer this class as part of our Community Engagement programs, one of several of our many programs we do throughout the year to connect with our residents!

Attached are a brief summary of some of the various calls for service our Officers handled during the month of September, that didn’t result in their own post. It is important to note that some of these calls and arrests are sensitive, and limited information will be provided, including the identifies of the suspect(s). This is to protect the integrity of the case and also the victims involved. We will still be posting notable arrests and booking photos. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Alert Off-Duty Webster Officer Observes Wanted Man at Price Chopper

On Saturday, September 19th, around 3:30 pm, Sergeant Sean Ebbeling was off-duty in the area of Price Chopper when he observed Sean Orgel enter the business. Sgt. Ebbeling had prior knowledge that Orgel was wanted by the Grafton Police Department. Sgt. Ebbeling notified evening shift WPD Officers upon seeing Orgel and remained in the parking lot as Orgel was known to run from Police and barricade himself inside his residence.

Several minutes later, Sgt. Ebbeling saw Orgel exit from Price Chopper as he began to walk to his vehicle. WPD Officers set up a perimeter and quickly moved in on his location. As Officer Aaron Suss arrived, Orgel saw him, said “its not me its not me” and quickly entered his vehicle in an attempt to escape. Officer Suss grabbed Orgel by the arm but he became non-compliant and aggressive. Officer Suss presented his Taser which seemed to de-escalate Orgel as he finally complied. Additional Officers arrived on scene and assisted with taking Orgel into custody.

Sean Orgel, 54, of Arkwright Rd., Webster was arrested for the following warrant:
• Warrant – original charges: 4 Counts of Violation of a Restraining Order

All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

WPD Officers Arrest Man After He Steals Two Cell-Phones, Smashes Them & Runs off on Foot

On Wednesday, September 16th, at approximately 5:49 pm, Webster Police Officers assigned to the evening shift responded to the North Village apartment complex for a report of a man who stole multiple cell-phones and had since ran off. Upon arrival, Officers spoke with the victim who stated her ex-boyfriend, Nyzaiah Ramos, smashed one of her cell phones several weeks prior. Today, it was reported Ramos stole a second cell phone from the victim by grabbing it out of her hand.

The victim told Ramos she was going to call the Police which is when he smashed the phone on the ground and ran behind one of the apartment buildings. Officers began searching for Ramos, who was reported to be running behind numerous apartment buildings towards a small wooded area. K9 Officer Suss deployed his K-9 partner Bolo. During the K-9 track, Ramos ran onto Slater St. and was located by Sgt. Mroczek, who placed him under arrest.

Nyzaiah Ramos, 21, of Village Way, was arrested for the following charges:
• Vandalize Property (Two Counts)
• Intimidation of a Witness
• Larceny from a Person

The Webster Police Department would like to thank the vigilant neighbors at the North Village Apartments who saw Ramos running and provided Officers with his location. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
