It's Library Card Sign-up Month! All Monroe County residents can register for a free library card at any Monroe County library. At the Webster Public Library, here's what you will need to sign-up for a library card, based on age:

If you are an adult (ages 18+), you can sign up for a library card at the Webster Public Library with a valid ID, that shows both identity and current address (ex: NYS Driver’s License).

If you are a teen (grades 6 – 12), you can get a library card at the Webster Public Library by presenting a school photo ID and proof of address (i.e. school schedule, report card, any mail postmarked within last 30 days). Teens may also come in with a parent or legal guardian with their license as proof of address.

If a child (birth – grade 5) would like a library card, the parent or legal guardian must fill out a short application at the Checkout Desk inside the Webster Public Library. Both the child and parent or legal guardian must be present.
