!!!!SCAM ALERT!!!!

We just took another report of a very well done scam call. These scams are making up an excuse as to why you owe them money. Whether it be because they gave you too much money or you're late on a payment.

They are telling you they want you to go to a store, buy gift cards, then send them pictures of either the gift card or the gift card and receipt. They are also saying not to tell anyone.

In some cases, the scammers have already had access to bank accounts and/or personal information before calling the person. In one case, they had the ability to freeze someone's computers. In another, they already had the last 4 of a social.

If this happens, please call the police immediately. DO NOT GIVE OUT ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION OR MONEY OVER THE PHONE. If someone collecting money over the phone is telling you not to tell anyone about it, it is more than likely a scam.

Just a reminder for everyone:

Under Jessica's Law, it is considered negligent driving if you do not clean all of the snow and ice off of your vehicle before driving it on the road.

According to the most recent NH Fine Schedule: The fine for this is $310 for a first offense and $620 for a second offense. We do watch for this and we do write these tickets.
