Following further investigation and review for potential charging, the St. Croix Tribal Police Department is releasing the following information.

Today the St. Croix Tribal Police Department conducted a traffic stop that resulted in the seizure of multiple bags of what we believe is counterfeit frybread.

Field-testing showed a suspicious texture and disapproval from several Grandmother’s. At this time we believe it may just be regular bread.

Beautiful Hearts Rescue will be hosting free services for rabies, microchips, DAPP and FVRCP on April 19th, 2026 from 12pm-3pm at the St Croix Police Department parking lot, 4384 State Rd 70, Webster WI.
