We had another fabulous season at Camp Butterscotch! Thanks to all who came out this spring, summer, and fall. As Craig and I (Melissa) get a little older, our focus for camp may change a little over the next couple of years. Although we will continue to find ways to welcome individuals of all ages and ability levels a way to learn about agriculture and experience hands-on life on a farm. Stay tuned!

We just love harvest time! Pumpkins, corn, gourds... Sunny days and beautiful breezes, it's the best!
Images of our sensory corn bin with farm toys hidden, the mini pumpkins and gourds kids of all ages can come and paint and bring home, and our fall harvest photo spot with nicely filled out corn in the background.

We are so excited for our fall afternoon on the farm THIS Saturday from 1-4pm!
We will have pumpkin painting, a chance to pick a big pumpkin to bring home, a couple photo op spots, and a chance to hang out with the cows, goats, and our rabbit Bunny Bunny.
The weather will be more summer-like but we'll take it!

Although it is smoky outside, the temps are beautiful and there is a breeze. We are excited for our camp afternoon for families who have students who are visually impaired! If the hazy skies don't bother you, I hope you can make it! 1-4pm today!

What a great treat to arrive in the mail! We had a fantastic 4 days of field trips from Echo Park Elementary school in June and we received many thank yous from the students! We read every thank you and keep them too! We have thank yous from over the past 10 years and are so appreciative of the people who are able to enjoy what we provide. Looking forward to some more events coming up this season!

Another field trip day... And thank goodness we have covered spaces! The animals are cozy and dry, and the kids will have enough space for us to still do our thing. We just pivot a bit when weather gives us some sass.

May is a busy time for us at camp! We brought home 2 camp goats: meet Bubbles and Blossom! They love following us when we do chores and are super sweet!
