Update please read,

Today we had reports of a fire nearby and, as a precautionary measure, evacuated to W**d High School. We had a very successful evacuation and are now safely back on campus after we were cleared to return.
As is our protocol, the primary concern is ALWAYS the safety of our students, with parent communication happening as soon as is safely possible.

IMPORTANT UPDATE – W**D ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

As a precaution, W**d Elementary School is currently evacuating students and staff to W**d High School. There is no need to pick up your student at this time.

All students are safe and accounted for. Please remain calm and wait for further communication regarding any changes to student pickup or dismissal.

We will continue to keep families updated as more information becomes available. Thank you for your patience and cooperation.

Our annual W**d Elementary School Color Run Fundraiser is right around the corner, and pledge forms will be going home this week. Be sure to check your child’s backpack! 🎒

Thunder on the Mountain is a free, family-friendly car show and one of the Boys & Girls Club’s largest fundraisers. The event will feature more than 200 vehicles, breakfast from Black Bear Diner, kids’ activities, face painting, raffles, food, and live music. All proceeds support local Boys & Girls Club programs. We would love to see more WES families and community members attend or register a car, truck, or motorcycle!

Due to the power outage, we are unable to accommodate students before 9:45 am. If the power is not restored by 8:45 am, we will have to cancel school for today.
