During the month of August 2026, the W**d Police Department had 2145 total incidents (calls for service and officer initiated) out of those incidents, 36 cases were pulled, and 4 arrests were made. The W**d Police Department conducted 119 traffic stops for the month.

The W**d Police Department responded to 7 traffic collision incidents this past month. Traffic collision incidents included those occurring on private property, roadway collisions, as well as hit and run.

W**d Fd and multiple other agencies are at scene of the Dollar incident behind Dollar General. Forward progress is stopped. Evacuation warning is in effect for 5417 for the direct vicinity. Fire units will remain at scene and units will be seen in the area.
