The Withlacoochie River still has many residents displaced out here. I'm praying that this water recedes soon, and for all the residents out here as well. Thank you to everyone who has been providing assistance with this problem out here though. So many people have provided meals, boat rides to properties, temporary lodging and more.

Please make sure to grab your sandbags, because they will stay open, "Weather permitting." We could see some potentially very dangerous storm surge along the coastline. I hope everyone stays safe through the storm.

I was glad to support the Sand Hill Crane Boy Scout Protest today. I am glad to have been able to be there and I do not support the sale of the land that they would like to sell. The individual that donated the land, Larry DiePolder, said he did not want the land to be sold in any way, shape or form and for the people to enjoy the beauties and benefits of nature.
