I have been back about a week. After taking care of the farm and the household necessities I was able to fix the library door. Well, we had to make a new one, the old one wouldn't fit right after we tried to repair it. So you may notice the door is a slightly different color than the box...but we are back in business. Please be mindful of the weather seal, we added it for extra protection for the books. ENJOY!

We can not allow this to occur ..

They are concerned about revenue but we have so many developments coming to Royal Highlands and Royal Hills why not get some of that needed revenue from the developers? If they want to build whole communities they need to provide the infrastructure that comes with having them. The goal is NOT to build hundreds upon hundreds of homes and drop the fees associated with the large influx of people in the laps of those that were already here.

County leaders in Hernando County are considering the permanent closure of a public library that has served local residents for four decades as part of proposed budget reductions.

Trying something new in the box today.
I'm not going to tell you what it is, it's a surprise, and there is only 1 as this is a trial offering. ( Will post again when it's gone) Hopefully, whoever takes it, will post about how they feel about me adding things like this to the box.

Complete book change out today.

There are still some farm animals erasers, Easter/ Spring pencils and micro 3D Prints left.

Also please Do Not Eat the Snacks. 🤡
They are mini milk bones for our community dog walkers and riders 🐶 they are not for human consumption. If you're hungry there is a list of local farm stands where you can make a food purchase tacked up on the inside of the library door. The closest stands to us are Cada Farms and The Big Blue Box, both are wonderful and open on the weekends.
