Not only is Tim an invaluable asset in Cass County but also to our Regional PET team. He is always willing to assist, support, and aid our neighboring counties!

Strong to severe storm development is expected in southeast Nebraska this afternoon into the evening. The primary hazard will be isolated hail (up to 2") with damaging wind gusts (up to 70 mph) and a brief tornado also possible.

Update on Burn Ban: Governor Jim Pillen has lifted the recent burn ban. Burn permits can now be issued by local fire chiefs or authorized staff.

The move comes as drought and wildfire risks across the state have eased.
