Engine 23 cancelled the Tanker before it left the station but at that time a structure fire was dispatched in Saratoga Harbor on Lakeview Dr. The fire was in a basement of a log home. This is unusual for Florida and causes a unique situation as fire can be below the firefighters as well as around and above. The fire was contained to the basement after a quick knock down by Engine 23. Tanker 12 deployed our dump tank and provided water to Engine 23. The family pet dog was rescued and revived with oxygen. Unfortunately, the two cats found in the home could not be saved. Throughout the day we had 5 of our members respond to these calls.
