We were grateful to join Pineville Elementary School in recognizing Child Abuse Prevention Month alongside Crimes Against Children Officer Tyler Sizemore of the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office.
The Children planted pinwheels symbolizing childlike whimsy and lightheartedness, and our vision for a world where all children grow up happy, healthy, and prepared to succeed. It is all of our jobs to prevent child abuse 💙

As April marks Child Abuse Awareness month, members of the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office took a stand for the WVCAN High 5 for Kids initiative.

Abuse doesn’t thrive because people don’t care;
it thrives when people stay silent.

The Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office stands with WVCAN and Stop the Hurt, Inc in sending a clear message:

👉 If something feels off, trust it.
👉 One call could change—or save—a child’s life.

We investigate these cases. We see the reality.
