In recognition of extraordinary courage, quick thinking, and decisive action that directly resulted in the saving of a human life on February 15, 2025, Firefigher Chase Woods is presented with the Lifesaving Commendation.

Without hesitation, Chase placed the safety and well-being of another above his own, demonstrating the highest ideals of the fire service. His actions reflect outstanding judgment, dedication, and a deep commitment to serving others. Firefighter Woods’ conduct during this incident brings great credit to himself, his department, and the fire service as a whole.

In recognition of outstanding service and dedication, the Outstanding Service commendation is presented to Firefighter Donna Gibson Hale for her assistance with the Department’s Haunted Hayride Fundraiser.

Her contributions played a vital role in the success of the event, helping to create an enjoyable experience for attendees while supporting the Department’s fundraising goals not only this year but in years past.
