🚨 MARTIN COUNTY TRAVEL ADVISORY – PLEASE READ 🚨

Minnesota Department of Transportation is advising NO TRAVEL at this time due to hazardous conditions.

Roads are extremely dangerous. Please stay home, avoid unnecessary travel, and allow emergency crews and plows to do their jobs safely.

❗ If conditions continue to deteriorate, and I-90 closes, then state and county roads will also be closed in Martin County.

Santa made his way to Welcome again this year and boy was it fun! Such an amazing turn out! Huge thank you to everyone who braved the cold to come and keep the Christmas Magic Alive!

Also would like to give a huge thank you to the Sherburn/Welcome Police Department and everyone who donated to make this all possible. We can't wait to see you next year!

Last night we did some training with Valero on what to do in case of a ethonal spill. Valero is a very proactive company in safety measures and making sure things are done right. We are happy to work with them to help each other grow and learn.

Do you have passengers who like to ride with their feet on the dash. Kindly show them this image

This image is striking enough to avoid unnecessary accidents. In 2020, the Welsh Police published this photo with a very clear message: if you go as a copilot never, but never put your feet on the dashboard of the car when running, because in the event of an accident, the same thing could happen to you as what happened to the young woman from this X-ray: a totally broken hip as well as her two femurs and one of them with an exposed fracture, as you can see on the left. The young woman survived the accident, but her serious injuries completely changed her life. Sergeant Ian Price of the Welsh Police shared the image and made a clear warning: “If you see your passenger doing this, stop and show him this photo.”
