Leah Foley wouldn’t need to step in and create a fraud coordinator if Maura Healey and her team were doing their jobs. Millions in SNAP and MassHealth fraud keep surfacing because Beacon Hill refuses to take waste and abuse seriously. Healey has allowed a culture of incompetence and corruption to flourish in state government. As governor, I'll order full audits of these benefits programs, prosecute fraudsters stealing taxpayer money, and eliminate waste.

Over the weekend, Massachusetts lost four companies as businesses continue to leave our state: Panera Bread, Zipcar, Thermo Fisher Scientific, and Cape Cod Potato Chips.

Losing Cape Cod Potato Chips hits especially hard. A company literally named after Cape Cod is now gone — a clear symbol of how hostile and unaffordable Massachusetts has become for employers.

This didn’t happen by accident. It’s the result of failed policies, rising costs, and a state government that continues to make it harder to do business here.

Massachusetts deserves leadership that will make our state business-friendly again, keep jobs here, and support the local companies that built our communities. That starts with electing a Republican governor who will put affordability, competitiveness, and common sense first.
