The Library Foundation Gala plays a critical role in raising the private funding needed for our Library to provide the extraordinary, free resources our community relies on. Evan Hayes, the Academy Award®, BAFTA®, and Emmy® Award-winning Producer and Director who is speaking at our 2026 Gala has strong ties to Wellesley!

📍Hayes attended Hunnewell Elementary School and Wellesley Middle School before graduating from Wellesley High School, Phillips Exeter Academy (PG), and the University of Southern California. His mother, Mary Forte Hayes, served as principal of Wellesley High School from 1987 – 1996.
