Wellington High School CTE

Wellington High School CTE CTE pathways are a fun way for high school students to explore career possibilities.

Wellington High School has 11 pathways where students can focus on different career areas within the art, business, agriculture, FACS, and industrial arts programs. It gives students the opportunity to explore the different pathways to find the right fit and help them prepare for a career they are interested in. This page is dedicated to sharing more information about the program and showcasing the work of the students.

The National FFA Organization recently announced that 2024 Wellington High School graduate Tatum Rountree will receive her American FFA Degree this October at the 98th National FFA Convention and Expo in Indianapolis, IN. The American FFA Degree is the highest honor a member can achieve in the organization, and it represents years of commitment, leadership, and agricultural excellence. “Just one-half of 1% of students in FFA earn this achievement, so it’s a big deal,” said USD 353 School Board Member Bob White. You can read more about Tatum’s amazing honor from the Wellington Daily News at: https://www.wellingtondailynews.com/rountree-to-receive-american-ffa-degree/
