Here is the artwork as still shots, if you want to take a closer look πŸ‘€.

Our District Art Show officially came to an end last Friday, and I am so proud of the creativity, talent, and hard work my students showcased this year. Thank you to everyone who was able to attend and support our young artists! There were about 200 people that came to view the show in the 3 hours of community open viewing.
If you were unable to view the show in person, I hope you enjoy these photos highlighting just a small collection of the incredible artwork that was on display by McCormick students. My students did an amazing job, and I am excited to celebrate their artistic accomplishments with the school community.
These pictures are 4th - 7th grade 2D artworks. The next batch is 7th & 8th grade 2D artwork and 6th - 8th 3D artwork.

Students in 5th grade recently participated in a fun, hands-on math project called β€œVolume Zoo!” Using recycled rectangular prisms, students designed and built zoo animals while applying their knowledge of area and volume to each structure. They worked collaboratively in groups to follow blueprints, solve math problems, and bring their animals to life. Students also conducted scientific research about their animals and created creative names for their projects. To complete their creations, students used a variety of materials and creative details to make their animals look as realistic as possible. Thank you Mrs. Palacios!

Fourth grade students created a real life wax museum today! Parents and staff were able to come through, step on the "make me come to life" buttons and our Ohio historical figures came to life! Thank you to our fourth grade teachers and students for doing an outstanding job with this project!
