Tonight, Wellington Firefighters refreshed skills on hazardous materials response. We discussed the use of the Emergency Response Guide Book, what equipment and capabilities we have from the local to the county level, and expectations regarding various types of transport and storage modes. During the scenario, Firefighters familiarized themselves with the use of our Foam Pro unit and evaluated the use of a new soy-based foam for protection, v***r reduction, and extinguishment of scenes involving flammable liquids.
